The December edition of Bubbles Magazine is out, and as you probably know by now, the premier music and entertainment publication never holds back from serving you, our faithful and cherished readers the very best in quality journalism. It’s been an eventful year, one with many ups and downs, but one with many lessons and inspiration. In spite of the continuous rise of online media, millions of young Nigerians appreciate the work that goes into delivery top-notch entertainment journalism in print.
This edition is covered by none other than Darey Art-Alade, the man many refer to as Coolness Personified. His long standing presence in the music has seen him occupy a position like no other. Starting out as a radio presenter, he ascended from musician to compere to bandleader, reality show participant, record label exec, husband and father. He hasn’t failed at any of these positions yet and he doesn’t look like he’s retiring anytime soon. 2013 saw him also delve into the realms of concerts as an organizer. Love Like a Movie is regarded as one of the best organized shows ever to hold in Nigeria.
Our Christmas special edition also featured Djinee, a rare breed of soulful singer. From the days of Ego and I no dey shame, the singer/songwriter/producer has shown that he doesn’t have to change his style to flow with the bandwagon.
Also we feature MI Abaga, Mode 9, Reminisce, Vector, Shina Peters and a host of other big names as well as newer artistes such as Tesh Carter and LAX.
