Davido Issues an Apology to his fans in New York

Angry fans had yesterday blasted Davido for showing up late only to perform for just 15minutes. Some were demanding for a refund. Davido has now apologised, saying the concert's promoters picked him up late and he had to stop during his performance cos of the police's instruction.

Pope Francis sacks "Bling Bishop" over luxury lifestyle

Pope Francis has indefinitely suspended Bishop Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst of Diocese of Limburg,known as "The Bling Bishop" after controversies surrounding his lifestyle .This came after the 53 year old Bishop spent a whooping $42m on a luxury residence & reportedly dropped $15,000 on his bathtub alone.

The quarters includes a museum, conference halls, a chapel and private apartments,The project was approved by his predecessor and was initially valued at an estimated $7.5 million, but the final bill rose to $42 million, including a $1 million garden.Last year over 4,000 signed an open letter criticising him for using Church offering to fund his luxury lifestyle..

He is also accused of giving false statements in court about an expensive Ist class flight he took to India to visit poor communities. Federal Road Safety Commission’s threat to impound vehicles come October 1 might not just happen any more, after a Federal High Court in Lagos this morning declared the new number plates illegal, saying it’s unconstitutional.

The judge said; that it was unlawful for the commission to impose the new number plates on Nigerians, where no existing law permitted it.

The suit was filed by Emmanuel Ofoegbu, a lawyer, against FRSC after they insisted every Nigerian must get the plate number, or have their vehicles impounded as from the 1st of October, 2014.

God bless Mr Emmanuel. Whoop! Whoop!! But what of those of us that have changed out number plates? We want our money back Lol
