Chris Brown Ordered to 90 Days in Anger Management Rehab After Alleged Violence

Chris Brown has been ordered to an anger management rehab facility for 90 days.

The performer, who recently left a Malibu facility after only two weeks, was in court on Wednesday for a progress report hearing in his ongoing probation.

Judge James R. Brandlin ordered Brown to serve three months in residential treatment and to submit to drug testing; the star must also perform additional community service hours.

He must also take any medications his doctor prescribes.

His lawyer Mark Geragos said Brown agreed to the terms imposed by the court; off-and-on girlfriend Karrueche Tran was also in the courtroom.

It was Brown’s first court appearance since his arrest in Washington, D.C. last month for an altercation outside the W Hotel.

There will be a December 16 hearing to determine whether that incident violated Brown’s probation.

According to TMZ, the probation department notified Judge Brandlin that Brown flew into a “violent rage” while in the Malibu facility, precipitating his early departure there.

The outlet says that Brown threw and broke objects while in rehab, leading the facility to want him to go, and causing the probation department to recommend the mandatory in-patient treatment that was ordered on Wednesday.
