Chris Brown Released From Jail, Assault Charge Reduced To Misdemeanor

Chris Brown’s assault charge from his fight with a man in Washington, D.C. on Sunday morning has been reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor.

The singer was released from jail without bail on Monday after pleading not guilty to the assault charge.

Brown’s bodyguard’s charge was also reduced to a misdemeanor.

TMZ says the charges were reduced because the victim’s injuries were minor, and there were conflicting accounts as to what happened.

It’s a big break for Brown, who is still on probation from assaulting Rihanna in 2009.

As Gossip Network previously reported, Brown got into a physical altercation with a man outside the W Hotel on Sunday, and was taken into custody for assault.

Thousands of fans allegedly mobbed super star Wizkid and prevented him from spending time with his father at his 70th birthday party which held recently.

Punch reports thus:
“Young musical sensation, Ayo Balogun, alias Wizkid, is any parent’s delight. Even his father, Ibrahim Balogun, is awed by his superstar son, at least his 70th birthday celebration proved that.
At the event, thousands of fans mobbed his superstar son and prevented him from spending time with his father.
It is no surprise then that he would be one of those calling for the release of Wizkid’s album. Wizkid shared this information on his twitter page when he wrote, ‘My dad just called, asking why my album is not out yet.  Lol!  Bless him.’ Obviously, the senior Balogun has converted from being a father to a fan” the newspaper reported.

Dr. Conrad Murray - who was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to four years behind bars in November 2011 as he administered the lethal dose of Propofol, which led to the King of Pop's death in 2009 - has applied to have his medical licence reinstated ahead of his early release from prison on Monday (28.10.13).

The disgraced physician, who had a clinic in Texas prior to his conviction, filed a civil petition in Travis County, Texas on Friday (25.10.13), asking a judge to stop the state medical board's revocation of his medical licence pending the outcome of his criminal appeal in California, according to the New York Daily News.

Multiple award winning rapper and former member of Morafe, Khuli Chana has been shot after allegedly being mistaken for a suspect by cops in Johannesburg.

Multiple award winning South African rapper Khuli Chana has been shot by policemen for a mistaken idendity for an armed robbery suspect.

 Khuli Chana was driving alone in his car around the early hours today when unidentified policemen who are said to be tracking an accused suspect group opened fire on him.

 Chana is said to have sustained bullet wound to his arm with a shrapnel lodged in his back. He is currently in the Hospital receiving treatment.

Chris Brown was arrested for assault in Washington D.C. on Sunday morning.

The singer allegedly got into a “physical altercation” with an adult male outside the W Hotel, and was taken into custody for felony assault around 4:30 a.m.

We’re told a third person, 35-year-old Chris Hollosy, was arrested on the same charge, with some outlets identifying him as Brown’s bodyguard, but police could not confirm their association.

The victim “sustained injuries,” and was reportedly evaluated at a local hospital.
