The fast-food chain, whose logo bears a striking resemblance to Pharrell’s hat, bought the accessory on an eBay auction benefiting the “Happy” singer’s charity, From One Hand To AnOTHER, which funds learning programs for underserved children in at-risk communities.
On Sunday, Pharrell tweeted, “Thank you to whoever bought my Grammy hat on @eBay for $44,100. Your donation benefits From One Hand To AnOTHER,” to which Arby’s responded, “You’re welcome. We’re HAPPY to support a great cause & get our hat back.”
Back in January, Arby’s tweeted the singer’s Grammy performance, “Hey @Pharrell, can we have our hat back?”
